Sarawak Bloggers meets Ramadhan Buffet at Pullman Waterfront Hotel Miri

I guess this is my new blog page now. Its been a while since I last posted my blogs. Was suppose to get my Cambodian trip blog up but kindda got caught up with work and life. So, here's the recent update on the happening recently.

First of all, I am not a food blogger/vlogger (I'll explain the vlog thing at the end of this blog post). Being invited by Pullman Waterfront Hotel Miri to their Pre Ramadhan Buffet Dinner & Client Appreciation Night got me thinking about what to say or write about their food. I love food, hence explaining my body weight now but the thing is, its hard to me to explain good food and really good food. But after being at the event itself, I see the bigger picture. Again I will let you'll know in this blog. Keep reading.

Ok. I'm going to tell you guys about the food aspect first. To every Mirian, dining in Pullman Hotel means you're dining in style. True enough. For this Ramadhan session, Pullman Hotel will be serving lots and lots and lots and lots of different variety of food. The food you usually will find during Ramadhan and Hari Raya.

To me there are several things that I like about Pullman's Ramadhan buffet. 1, their variety of drinks. Now, most hotel would only serve you 3 to 4 different drinks but Pullman had a whole counter of different mixture of hot and cold drinks. From hot tea, coffee, teh tarik, air bandung, sirap, cold water, lemon water and etc. I can't remember all of them but hey, there's 7 different drinks to choose from.

Now, another thing that I liked is their lemang and satay. The lemang is sweet and the satay is to die for. The satay just breaks apart easily when you started chewing on it and it compliment well with the lemang on the side. I might be using different words to describe the texture of the satay but like I said before I am not a food blogger/vloggers.

Ok, you might notice that I did not take any photo of the food I ate. Here's why, I should say that most of the food are commons because its Ramadhan. Not that I don't like them but I've tasted it before and all of them are really good. Another reason would be I was too busy eating that I forgot take photo of my foods. To me the food was great and the vibe of the hotel is welcoming. I like it.

I guess my only comment on this food trip is with all the varieties of food being serve, it would be great if the hotel could showcase the famous Dim Sums dishes. Being Malaysian, we love mixture of culture especially in food.

The promotion begins on 27/05 onward. The buffet price is at RM98/nett for adults and half price for children age 6-12 years old. The buffet is available daily starting at 6.30pm till 10pm. For more details please contact 085-323388. Since Gawai Festival is just around the corner, the hotel also have a 2 days Gawai Festival buffet which started on 01/06 to 02/06. The price for this Gawai buffest is RM88/nett for adults and half price for children aged 6-12 years old.

So I got all of that out of the way now on to more serious note. Of course we were joined by the children from Kompleks Kebajikan Hamidah Yakup. Now, as much as I enjoyed myself with fellow bloggers on this food trip but I can't help for being touched by the expression from the children.
